Can I tell you how much I love my husband? He still amazes me! He is going to school right now and has grown so much. I'm his biggest fan! Oh quite! I can be as mushy as I want!

Maggie and I are buddies. I love having her in our family.

This is Gideon throwing wheelies on his four wheeler in the lot next to our house. It's pretty cool that I can watch him have fun out the window and fold laundry at the same time!

Well, our neighbor took our family pictures just up the street from our house. I don't think I will ever stop being amazed at the beauty of Southern Utah. I love the red sandstone in the afternoon sun. I takes my breath away.

Alex and I went on a four wheeler ride with some of his coworkers. It was so fun!! I am proud to say that I can not only jump a dirt bike but a four wheeler also! Dates are great!

Mahonri is creating again. He made an R2D2

out of knex, paper, markers, and tape. Inside of it there is even a light and tow cable. He says that he will build a real one some day. I asked if I would get one, and he said sure if I paid for it!!! He's even a shrewed business man:)

Wow, it seems the holidays have flown by!! I guess that's what happens when you emerse yourself in Cub Scouts he he. I love Alex! He always finds a way to gets us together and just hang out. This is at a partially finished park next to our neighborhood. We went and played tag. The pictures above are where taken for Maggies gifts to her brothers for Christmas. She colored a magnet frame and we put the pictures in them. Her brothers love them. This year was fun, we made homeade gifts. Alex and Mahonri made me a chicken coop and filled it with 7 chickens!! I get 7 eggs a day. I wonder if my cholesterol has gone up:)

Halloween Carnival

This was a carnival @ the school. We had a blast. Mahonri sang fun Halloween songs with the choir, and yes that me in the Darth Vader costume! Isn't Maggie a cute Princess Leia?

Oct. Conference 2008

Well for Conference this fall my good friend Tina came down and had her kids play with mine. My wonderful friend, she is a great example of strength and happiness to me. Her little girl and I bonded with hair twirling. I'm 31, and still do it!

The kids were so quite during conference!! Want to know my secret? Masking tape!! Ha Ha. Just kidding, they decided to do it, I wish I could take the credit. My boys are so funny. I cracked up when I saw them!

I'm so glad when Granpa comes down.... I have never seen Maggie so attached to someone so instantly! We went and visited Great great Uncle Marion and Aunt LaRae and and had dinner with Paige and her family. The next day, we went for a ride on the bikes, yes that's me jumping!

Happy Birthday Maggie!!! She turned 2 on Sunday. We had family and friends come and play. Our little princess. She wouldn't smile for anyone, I guess she was nervous. Later, when everyone was gone, she opened up for me and gave me a casual smile.

Fourth of July in Koosherum (sp)

We'll the fourth of July was spent with the Turley family in Koosherum ( i think that's how you spell it) The kids got to be in the parade in Kingston and then for four-wheeling! I got to stay home and finish the staining of the stairs, grouting the floor, and whatever else needed to be done while the little ones were gone. The pic of Maggie is just a funny! She loves hats, even when "hat" isn't the exact description.

The thrill of flying is awesome!
What a blessing and pleasure to have Mike take us up in his plane. The kids were in heaven. Maggie never got scared (unlike me). Mahonri wants to become a pilot, so this was great for him, he even got tho fly the plane.

Solomon is a boy of many faces. He cracks us up.

Well, we made it! We've officially moved in! It took us 1 month to get the bids, and 4 months to build, can you believe it! Mike (Alex's dad) took us up in his plane and we got an aerial shot of the house, which inspired Alex and I to clean up the lot. The rock on the front is almost finished now (diff. from pic) Man it's great to have a home again. Now onto unpacking!

Hillbilly Hot tub

When I was working in the house, Maggie decided to cool off. It was really cute how she was just kickin' back in her hot tub soaking up the rays.
The other picture is at Sand Hallow Resevior just one mile from our front door. We go every Saturday. Maggie loves her boots and wears them everywhere. I think I'll enter this one in the fair. It's not perfect, but I love it.

Well from one week to the next what a difference! I love the colors. The Suburban belongs to the painter. It's almost impossible to get a pic without one or two Subs in the way. Granite comes tomorrow. Monday is going to be busy inside "buttoning up" with HVAC, plumbing, and electric. Hopefully two weeks maybe three until we can move in!

For Memorial Day we went to Red Cliffs for a hike. I sure do love the red sand rock. For as many times as we have hiked this spot, I still get breathless at the beauty. Grandma and Grandpa went with us! What a treat!

We passed the four way inspection!!!! Now on to more messes!
The stucco guys were here today prepping. It is fun to see this house come out of my imagination and into reality. A bit scary, trusting my self with the endless choices. But, I keep saying, "we learn as we go!" So far, all has gone really well, knock on wood. Alex and I are sticking together on everything. He has finally got to the point when the subcontractors ask a question, he says ask Chauncey, she's the one with the answers. Good boy:) See he sticking to the plan. What ever Chauncey wants, Chauncey gets....
